Elmer Boyd "E.B." Underwood, died November 8, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born February 4, 1939 to Johnny Frank and Addie Serether (Barrett) Underwood in Buena Vista, Georgia.E.B. retired from the US Air Force as a Captain after 20 years of service. He was an Electrical Engineer in the Air Force and continued as an engineer in Civil Service after retirement. E.B. received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida State University and later went on to earn his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.He was a loving husband, avid golfer, and he liked to travel. He also enjoyed playing cards with his brothers. E.B. married Shirley in 1962, then later married Mary Ray Coughlin on December 28, 1992 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Alfred, Roy, Johnny and Jerry Underwood. He leaves behind to remember him his wife, Mary Ray Underwood; his children, Debonee (Kenny) Morgan, John Michael Underwood, and Christy (Michael) Field; his step-children, Perry (Cindy) Smith and Ammie (Shannon) Vincent; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his brother, Larry Underwood; sister, Dorothy (Jimmy) Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by Funeral Services at 1:00PM, Wednesday, November 13, 2019, The Springs Funeral Services - North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.
