Obituary of Maj. Irving "Irv" Andrew Tracy, USAF,

Major Irving Andrew Tracy, USAF, (Ret.), longtime resident, died November 30, 2019. He was born on January 20, 1936 in Providence, Rhode Island to Leslie Lenard and Helena Alberta (Jackson) Tracy.In 1954, Irving enlisted in the United States Army, serving fifteen years. He entered Troy State College, Troy, Alabama, in 1958, where he met the love of his life, Priscilla Mahone. They were married on October 21, 1961.After graduation, he was accepted into the United States Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant, and progressed through his military career to the rank of Major. During his career, he served two tours in Korea. His career included assignments to 14th Aerospace, Colorado Springs; Thailand; NORAD in Colorado Springs; and was Commander of Rothwesten AFB, in Kassel, Germany.Following retirement from the United States Air Force in 1986, Irv worked for GeoDynamics in Colorado Springs, and G. E. in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.Irving is survived by his wife, Priscilla Mahone Tracy; and their children, Robert Tracy, John Tracy & Leslie (Tracy) Miller; grandchildren, Lindsey Sean (Catherine) Tracy, Kyla Morgan Anderson, Jordyn Ashley (Michael) Jennison and Hunter Lee Miller; and eight great-grandchildren.Irv will be inurned at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.Memorial contributions in Irv's memory may be made to The American Brain Tumor Association, in honor of Robert P.
