Obituary of Matthew Gary Watson

Matt passed away at home unexpectedly on December 14, 2019.Matt was a one of a kind, despite having a twin brother. He lived a very full life in his 29 years. He loved everyone, especially children and french bulldogs, and everyone loved Matt.Matt had a magnetic personality, was funny and witty. He was the most caring person and had the biggest heart of all. His older brothers affectionately called him "Mother Matt" and "Fire Marshall Matt" when they were children. He helped so many people in so many ways.He had a wicked sweet tooth that he got from both grandpas. They are probably eating ice cream and pie together now. Reese's, pop tarts, donuts, Taco Bell (but only delivered), and ice cream (not in that order) were some of his favorite things. Matt got his passion for fast cars from his grandpa Neil. He loved big thunderstorms, his computer, anything electronic and music.Matt met his soul mate, Tom, ten years ago and they were married June of 2018. He was so excited to be starting a new chapter in his life in the United Kingdom. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Watson; great-grandparents, Linton and Ethlyn Watson, Charles and Rita Fouchey, Alexander and Dorothy Neil, and Harvey Steele; and cousin, Grahm Houdek.Matt is survived by his husband, Tom Ross; parents, Gary and Susan Watson; brothers, Alexander (Deidra) Watson and Andrew (Mikayla Ross) Watson; grandparents, Lawrence and Rose Anne Neil, and Sheryl Watson; great-grandmother, Greta Steele; aunts, Cindy Houdek, Jayne (Lonny) Radtke and Brenda (Gary) Wisenberger; uncles, Scott (Buzz) Neil, William Watson and Mark (Chris) Miller; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and Talulah and Buster, his fur kids.Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Friday, December 20, 2019, The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.
