Obituary of Jesus "Jesse" Ortega

Jesse Ortega, Jr., 44, passed away on December 22, 2019, surrounded by his family in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was married to Rachael Ortega. They shared twenty-one years together.Born in Los Angeles, California, he was the son of Jesus Ortega, Sr. and Alicia. He graduated from Garfield High School in East Los Angeles and was also a graduate of Universal Technical Institute, where he earned an Associates�Degree. Jesse was a very gifted Master Certified Automotive Technician. He loved what he did and worked in his field for over twenty years.He loved spending time with his family, camping, fishing, working on cars and making people laugh. He will be remembered for his generosity, his great sense of humor, his teddy bear personality that made everyone feel loved, and always finding the fun in things, even in the hard times.Jesse is survived by his wife, Rachael Ortega; his daughters, Jessica (Tim Mackins) Ortega, Alicia (Arie) Kirby and Izabella Ortega; his sons, Jesse Ortega, IV and Jimmy Ortega; grandson, Landon Mackins; parents, Jesus and Alicia Ortega; and sister, Pina (Matt) Norkin.Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Saturday, January 4, 2020, Woodmen Valley Chapel-Rockrimmon Campus, 290 East Woodmen Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919.
