Obituary
Obituary of CMSgt Matthew Stewart Console, USAF
Chief Master Sergeant Matthew S. Console, 43, passed away in his home on January 1, 2020, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Matthew was born January 13, 1976 in San Bernardino, California. He was a very bright child, full of charm and wisdom beyond his years. He attended San Bernardino High School where he excelled at all he did including his extracurricular activities. Matthew was a Varsity swimmer and went on to win a CIF championship before graduating in 1994. His successes did not stop there. After graduating from high school, Matthew chose to embark on a very honorable life path. He made the decision to join the United States Air Force. This decision led him to accomplish an extremely successful career in the Air Force as well as a Bachelor's Degree in computer science from Maryland University. His journey with the Air Force brought him around the world on over a dozen assignments. He conquered deployments, received numerous major awards and decorations, as well as almost a dozen other military based achievements. Matthew's strong career performance and dedication to serving our country led to his biggest Air Force achievement: his promotion to Chief Master Sergeant on March 1, 2017; but that wasn't his proudest moment.Out of all Matthew's life victories, and career achievements, Matthew was most proud of his family. He was the true definition of a family man. He loved to take his son hunting, take his daughter ice fishing, and go on camping excursions. Matthew was the proudest father, a loving husband, and a forever loyal brother.Matthew was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Nichols. He is survived by his wife, Mamie Console of twenty-five years; his daughter, Kaylee (Jeremy) Console; his son, Mason Console; his brother, Alan Console; his sister, Randi; and was loved by many more."Off we go, into the wild blue yonder, Climbing high, into the sun"Rest in Heaven Matt. We love you deeply always and forever. Until we meet again. To send memorial contributions in Matthew's memory, please send donations to The Wounded Heroes Hunting Camp ( https://www.whhc.org/donate-now.html ) or The Veteran Tickets Foundation.
