Obituary of Clyde Burton Lawson

Clyde Burton Lawson, 88, died January 6, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Clyde was born July 6, 1931 and grew up on a large farm in Missouri. He joined the Navy after high school for a term during the Korean War. Clyde graduated from Oklahoma State University and became associated with The Navigators. He also had a career as project manager with two construction companies. As a retiree he taught in Central Asia for ten years. Clyde was a man who loved God wholly and was His friend. He was a member of Woodmen Valley Chapel, Livingstones Class. He is preceded in death by his brother, John Lawson; his sisters, Mary Thayer and Jeanette Fairburn; and his parents, Cleveland Burton and Julia Wilhelmina Lawson.Clyde is survived by his wife, Selva R. Lawson; sons, Brek B. Lawson (Janelle Fuqua) and Greg S. (Sari) Lawson; daughter, Sara Louise Joy (Dain) Strobel; and seven grandsons, Jake, Jessy and Jonah Lawson, and Deaj, Levi, Jace and Kai Strobel; brother, Robert Lawson; sisters, Mable Brewer, Helen Romero and Lou Choat.Memorial Service, 3:00PM, Saturday, January 11, 2020, Brookdale Skyline, Building 3, 2365 Patriot Heights, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80904.
