Obituary of Angelo Fazon Watson

Angelo Fazon Watson, 26, passed away at home on January 10, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born on November 25, 1993 to Ernest R. Watson and Lisa M. Gilks in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Angelo Watson was in sales and provided great service to his community. Angelo was an avid fan of the Atlanta Falcons and Golden State Warriors but secretly loved the Denver Broncos and the Washington Redskins. Angelo was an animal lover. He was THE SNAKE WHISPERER!!! He was a Cannabis Connoisseur. He loved all musical genres and was an avid gamer. Angelo was a gentle giant and he had a unique relationship with each and every one he encountered. His quick-witted sarcasm will be greatly missed. He was a solid man with a big heart, with a smile that could melt a thousand glaciers and a hug for everyone. Angelo was a son, a grandson, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a nephew, and at times, a stand in dad. Any position he needed to fill he did! He was a rock for his family and defended them at all costs and was always there when you needed him. He is preceded in death by his dad, Ernest R. Watson; grandparents, Thomas and Mable Watson; and grandfather, George Gilks. Angelo is survived by his mother, Lisa M. Gilks; stepdad, Derrin Simmons; his grandmother; Shirley Anderson; uncle, Thomas "Uncle Daddy Jack" Watson; brothers and sisters, Jamahl (Brittany) Watson, Jordon Salazar, Rashad (Jeremy) Watson-Leedom, Julian Salazar-Gilks, Dorlando Salazar-Gilks, Tia (Edward) Watson-Hunter, Landis Hester, and Princess Salazar-Gilks; his nieces and nephews, Giavanna Doe-Watson, Lha'maj Doe-Watson, Jamahl Watson, Jr., Alycianna and Lylyanna Taylor-Watson, Luciana Salazar, Alivia Watson, Zavier Ford, Emily Perkins, Bryce Lussier, Zander Watson, and Elijah Swanson; brothers of the heart, Santino Zampparelli, Giovanni Zampparelli, and Jordan Jones; and cousins, John Zampparelli, III, Amber Jones, Randall Andrews, Laura (Garry) Zampparelli, Ambrosia Jones, and Emillianna Zampparelli.
