My daughter, Alyssa, and I were attending the same Church as Tom and Alyse. We also were all attending 1st semester at Charis Bible College. Alyssa and I had found the ideal rental for us and our 3 dogs, but had only a few days to move. Tom and Alyse helped us move. While Tom and Alyssa finished up the packing, Alyse and I tackled cleaning our new place. And mind you this took place while a blizzard raged on. When we were finished Alyse wanted us to go to their house because she was making us dinner. It should of been the other way around! When we got to their place Alyse gave us the best seats and covered us with a blanket while she put on the finishing touch of our dinner. I felt safe, it's hard to explain and I've only felt that way a handful of times. Alyse and Tom's generosity, love , helpfulness, and their service to others spoke volumes to me. And I knew that I had dined with royalty that night.

My daughter, Alyssa, and I first met Tom and Alyse at church and we became fast friends. We found out that Alyse's birthday was September 11th and knew we wanted to give her a good memory on that day. We decided that tea at the Glen Eyrie Castle should fit the bill. With Alyse's fun nature and pleasant company we had a blast. Alyse was the picture of unconditional love and I loved her dearly.

It was about 13 years ago we were praying about getting a dog, and of course it had to be a German Shepherd. I stopped at a storein Sand point Idaho and picked up the local community paper. There it was " German Shepherd puppies $100-200. The next day we dropped Riley offto school he said he had a dream that we got a dog. Then we left and drove back Sand point. There she was laying in her cage front paws crossed just looking at us. Alyse wanted a male dog but she kept looking over at her. That was it. With in a hour we were headed back home to pick up Riley from school and surprised him with the dog that he had dreamt about.
