Obituary of Rodney Eugene Hoffacker
Rodney Eugene Hoffacker, 87, went to sleep with the saints on April 4, 2020 at 1:16AM and will be welcomed by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Rodney spent his last hours at Pikes Peak Hospice at Penrose.Rodney was born in Hanover, Pennsylvania. In his mid-twenties he moved to Colorado with three of his siblings. He worked for Continental Trailways as a ticket salesman. Rodney never married. He loved the Word of God and loved to share it with others. He designed and built decorative houses and other fixtures out of cardboard. People marveled at their detail and beauty. Rodney enjoyed living in Emerald Acres Mobile Home Park where he was well-liked and respected.He is preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Catherine Hoffacker; and siblings, Burnell and Bob Hoffacker.Rodney is survived by siblings, William Hoffacker, his twin sister, Betty (Jack) Biava, and Shirley (Dale) Nelson; his nieces and nephews, Randy Hoffacker, Jim Hoffacker, Kenneth Hoffacker, Deborah Louis, Theresa Biava, Catherine Nystrom, Judith Plaep, Kathy Gibson and Daniel Nelson.There is no scheduled memorial service at this time. The family will hold a private service at a time to be determined later.
