I was so sad to hear about Brian's passing. Brian was a good man with a big heart. I met Brian when I was director of PPPBC daycare. Brian brought his beautiful daughter, Harley, to us for care. She was only 4 at the time and her mother had died. Brian was so concerned about making sure that Harley had lots of love and protection. He just wanted to be the best dad for her. He was always asking what he could do to be a better parent. When he would come in to pick up Harley, she would just run right into his arms. Brian loved her so much and his love showed. In addition to loving his kids, Brian loved God. He talked about his desire to serve God, and to do the right things. Brian was a very special man who was loved and admired by all who knew him. It is an honor to have been a part of his life. May he rest in peace and in the comfort of God's loving arms. In Christ,-Charlotte Varga (Stewart)

Brian, I don't want to believe that you're gone. You've been there in my life to share the birth of our first baby in our teenage years, the births of all yours and my children in our 20s and 30s, as well as the births of our grandson. Then welcomed the addition of our children's loved ones in our 40s. We've created an entire family between the two of us growing up together. It's amazing how many lives you have touched that have become family. We will miss you but you will never be far from our hearts and traditions in this family. I promise to take care of all of our "children" whether yours or mine or someone else's, because that's what we do. We're family. I'm Mom, I'm Auntie, I'm Kinda Mom, I'm "Granny" all because of you.
