After she became an author, Nikki decided to improve her education to help enable her ability to homeschool her children in any state her family might be moved to. During her college career she established a goal of starting her own private practice once she became a doctor. After graduating with a Doctorate in Psychology, she completed her dissertation defense in 2018 and passed the Colorado State EPPP Licensure Exam in 2019. She became a licensed Psychologist (PsyD) and opened her private practice in February of 2020 (Traversing Minds). Goal accomplished.Nikki was very thankful for all the help of her instructors, mentors and fellow students throughout her college career. She was also very grateful to her family who helped her achieve her goal.Nikki loved to listen to music - some of her favorite songs were "Always" by Bon Jovi and "Alive" by Adelitas Way. Her favorite worship song is "I Come To The Garden Alone" or "In The Garden" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9LxvTZy5gENikki loved living in Colorado. She loved the mountain views and hiking.
