Obituary of Jeremy Paul Hogg

Jeremy Paul Hogg, a pipefitter for Olson's Plumbing and Heating Company (UA Local #58) and long-time resident of Colorado Springs, died unexpectedly on April 28, 2020, four days after his 43rd birthday. He is survived by his parents, Jeff Hogg and Sherry Fox, both of Colorado Springs; his siblings, Kevin (Bethany) Hogg of Westcliffe, Colorado, Daniel Hogg of Colorado Springs, Tami Hogg of Oregon and Sarah Hogg of Colorado Springs; his former wife, Tammy (Double) Martin; and their thirteen year-old daughter, Nevaeh Hogg of Colorado Springs; grandparents, Lennox and Jackie Hogg of Ohio; and aunts, uncles, and cousins who live here in Colorado and in Ohio, Kansas, and Indiana.Jeremy was born April 24, 1977 to Sherry (Howell) and Paul Lawson in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and he also lived in Ohio. As a military dependent, he then lived in New York, Germany and England before settling here in Colorado Springs in 1992. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1995 and liked to play frisbee golf, basketball, bowling, and enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping. Jeremy was a journeyman pipefitter for many years, building and remodeling St. Francis Hospital and other buildings around Colorado, he loved his career and took great pride in his work. Jeremy was an adoring father to his daughter, Nevaeh and loved playing board games and cards with her and his family. He was very passionate, charismatic and enjoyed deep, thoughtful conversation. Besides being a realistic and giving person, he was a sincere encourager. Although his loving influence will continue in the people he cared about, he will be truly missed by all.
