Heather Lynn Wells, 45, died May 27, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born May 1, 1975 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joseph Garrett and Rose Marie (Lewis) Hunter. Heather was a homemaker and loved her family and the time spent with them. She loved the mountains, camping, fishing, crossword puzzles, and animals. Heather also enjoyed listening to Blake Shelton and Korn. She loved Burger King and Haley's brownies. Some of her favorite activities included viewing sunsets and watching Disney movies. Heather was very selfless and giving, she would always take care of others and think of them before herself. She enjoyed being "Aunt Hotters" and to all was "Moma" and "Gammie."Heather is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Garrett Hunter and Rose Marie Lewis; maternal grandparents, Floyd Dean Lewis and her "Nanny" Chestaline V. Lewis; and great-grandfather, Chester "Pawpaw" Kofal.She is survived by her husband, Eric Michael Wells of Colorado Springs; sons, Bradley Howell Wells, Taryn Michael (Dominique) Wells, Colby Lynn Wells, Tyler Dean Wells and Jonathan Sierra, all of Colorado Springs; daughter, Haley Marie (Shawn) Zetzsche of Huntingdon, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Jayden, Tommy, Soap and Dilly Pickle; sister, Traci Thorne Howell-Allen and her husband, Charles "Bubba" Allen of Louisiana; and multiple nieces and nephews.Heather was a fighter and she fought until the very end.
