There are so many things I could share about my dearest friend Diane...our friendship began many years ago when our girls were in grade school. What a special friendship we have enjoyed with Bob and Diane over the years. So many happy memories!~we have been faithful prayer partners forever! Thank you Lord for Diane's life & legacy lived well for Your glory! I always knew Diane's passionate love of Christ. She finished the race well and is this now in His presence, seeing Him face to face, the Lord she loved & served throughout her life. Our deepest condolence's & prayers continue for all of you. Father, may Your balm of healing comfort flow over the Knapp family these difficult days..."Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12~"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15

I met Diane when I was 4 years old and she was 3. We grew up together and shared so many happy times. She was sweet and fun as a child, even though all of her suffering dealing with itchy skin and life threatening asthma. She was her dad's little "Popeye" - a real fighter. Diane was an angelic soul - a beautiful woman inside and out. She personified what love should encompass. Diane Lee will always remain right where she has always been - close to my heart.

I met Diane while I was walking in our neighborhood. We passed each other saying "Hi" and the next thing I knew share was by my side. It was no co-incidence on both our parts that we kept running into each on our walks. We became walking friends for many years. Diane reached out to me at a time of transition in my life and it was no accidental meeting. God placed her there at the right time. In the last conversation I had with Diane I told her that the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" kept running thru my head and she told me Lamentations 3:32 was her favorite bible verse. I have to say she internalized that verse . Always remembering me and others on special occasions. Diane also share d her knowledge of the scripture s and in times of despair she provided the right one. Diane was a faithful friend she never forgot me and most importantly her Lord and Savior. I miss her but will cherish the time we had together. Pat Lewis diane walking b

I am glad I had a chance to talk with Diane in January. She was such a good friend and support when I lived in Colorado Springs. She helped me make it through my first pregnancy and showed me what a good wife and mother looked like. There was never a time that I was around her that she didn't talk about Bob and her beloved daughters. They were her life, but it was always evident that her Lord was the center of her life. She was blessed to hold grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob, my heart breaks for you. I'm praying for you and your whole family during this time of grief.
