Obituary of Drew Casper Sickles
Drew Casper Sickles, Drew Drew, Honey Bear, Daddy, Smokey, Baby Boy, My Hot Husband. These are a few of the many nicknames for the most wonderful man I have ever had the pleasure to love.He loved his family, his friends, and of course, his cars. You felt his love with every hug, and he gave the best hugs. You saw the selflessness in his eyes. He knew when you needed him without you ever having to say it. His loyalty was admirable, and his generosity went without measure. He never failed to make you feel welcomed, and you were guaranteed to laugh. It goes without saying that he made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Drew was a proud foreman for Crackerjack Mudjacking, where he got to work with one of his best friends, Bart; his cousin, Kyle; and his son-in-law, Elijah. He was a hardworking man who loved his job. No matter the hour, there was always time for cars. He had a passion for Cadillacs. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Drew loved his kids and was so proud of them. He would say, "Man, I was never as cool as Koa, but I will never tell him that." Makayla Rose is his leading lady and Mariah was his Boo from Monster's, Inc. He loved Maleah and Elijah and was so proud to be Papa Drew. He was looking forward to meeting his new granddaughter. His brother, Chas, was his favorite subject to brag about. He was proud to be his Little Big Brother. He loved being Uncle Drew to all his nieces and nephews. He couldn't get enough of his mom, Wanda, and Roger, as they're his favorite people and role models.Hearing from his Daddy'O, CJ, and Bing would brighten his day. He loved getting a bear hug back from his dad and the way Bing said his name. Drew got to enjoy his sister, Abby, and her family, and couldn't wait to meet baby Jaxson. He treasured the memories with his siblings, Janelle and Roger. He loved the endless fun we had at Uncle Brian, Norly, and Eloise's. Drew was blessed with a wonderful village guided by Gma Cookie and his late Papa D. Endless amounts of love from his Auntie Lori. Guidance from Uncle Allen, and of course his idol, who he is with now with, Uncle Jay. He cherished all his cousins big and small. His friends became family and he was proud of those relationships old and new. Drew was married to Melissa and her family accepted him as their son, brother, nephew and grandson. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Sickles; son, Koali'i Sickles; daughters, Makayla Sickles, Mariah Sutton and Maleah (Elijah) Anding; grandson, Malijah Anding; mother, Wanda (Roger) Harmon; father, C.J. (Bing) Sickles; brother, Chas Sickles; grandmother, Cookie; Abby Conrad and family; Renee Villines and family; along with plenty of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. My husband, Drew, was perfect. He loves me so much and I love him just the same. We had a true fairy tale love that ended in sheer tragedy. I must try and live while the best of me has passed away. There is not a doubt in my mind that my Honey knew that I loved him. He was my King. My family is deeply shattered and we are not sure how we are ever going to recover, but with all your love and support each breath is a little easier, so thank you. ~His Wife and KidsCelebration of Life,12:30PM - 4:00PM, Sunday, July 12, 2020, Hillside Gardens, 1006 South Institute Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
