My condolences to Ann and her family for the loss of her mother Martha. She was a lovely, gracious lady I had the privilege of knowing through her membership at First Christian Church in Colorado Springs.

I remember Martha Ann and her Sister Angie very well. My Mother was their first cousin, Mary Preston King who lived in Kingsport, Tn. I think the last time I saw any of the Patterson Family was 1962 during a Family Vacation in Colorado Springs when we spent the day with them. I wish I knew more of my Mother's Family from Roanoke. I learned alot from reading Martha Ann's obituary. We have home movies of the Family in Roanoke taken during the 1930's. I know Martha Ann and Pat are in movies taken on a visit to Kingsport during that time. I have done research over the years and found the houses that the Armstrongs, Campbells and Prestons lived in at that time. (willkingnv@yahoo.com) my email address if anyone would like to contact me.
