Obituary of Barbara Ann Megyeri

Barbara Ann Megyeri was born February 22, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to Stephen and Carrie (Collins) Chie.Barbara was a courageous pioneer in real estate and the restaurant industry. As a single mother she was inspired by John Denver, to move her four kids to Colorado Springs in 1978 to start Bambino's Pizzeria and became affectionately known as "Mama Bambino". She had a love and passion for her family, horses and Colorado Rockies Baseball. Barbara passed away at the age of 80 with her children and some grandchildren at her side.She is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Carrie Chie; brother, Bob Chie; and granddaughter, Savannah.Barbara is survived by her daughter, Dina Marie Megyeri; sons, Kevin (Suzette) Megyeri, Joseph Megyeri and Steven (Stacy) Megyeri; brother, Bill (Sharon) Chie; sisters, Deborah Chie (Drex) Brooks and Tammy Chie; grandchildren, Kate, Joshua, Jade, Dannielle, Carrieann, Kevin Shane, Jesse, Chase, Shelby and Saige; and great grandchildren, Trae, Eva and Finley.
