Obituary of Paul Richard Brown

Paul Richard Brown, 93, died June 29, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born February 19, 1927 to Paul William and Ruby (Adams) Brown in Los Angeles, California.Paul served in the United States Coast Guard, then when World War II started, he was transferred to the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1946. He then joined the Army National Guard and served from 1949 - 1952.After serving in the military, Paul took on a career at Martin Marietta in the Aerospace division. He managed the building of Viking Lander to Mars. Paul also managed solar developments and other projects. He retired as a Director.Paul was a man of honesty and integrity. He was a gentle man and a gentleman who loved his Lord, God, his wife and family, his country, music and singing in the choir. He loved God's creation of the moon and stars and all nature, flowers, and Colorado blue skies!He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Marilyn Sharp.Paul is survived by his loving wife, Anne Sandin Brown; two sons, Michael Paul (Judith) Brown and Richard Kimberly (Tammy) Brown; two grandsons, Scott (Kori) Brown and Mark (Liz) Brown; two great-grandsons, Zachary Brown and Collin Brown; one step-great-grandson, Jake Flores; great-granddaughter, Sara (Colt) Treasure; two great-great-grandsons, Blake and CJ Treasure; brother-in-law, Jerril (Loremarie) Sandin; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Saturday, August 22, 2020, Cross Fellowship Church, 10915 Black Forest Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80908.Memorial contributions in Paul's memory may be made to a local church.
