Obituary of Karen Mildred Hoefer

Karen Hoefer, 73, died July 5, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born October 12, 1946 to Frank Thomas and Mildred Marie (Duckworth) Titus in Cleveland, Ohio.Karen worked for a publishing company as an editor. She also loved to travel and had many great adventures. Karen was a wonderful hostess at home and loved her family and friends very much. She was a member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Marie Titus.Karen is survived by her husband, Leo Arthur Hoefer; daughter, Lorrie (Thomas) Guerra; son, Eric (Donna) Hoefer; grandsons, Chip Eurich and Connor Hoefer; granddaughters, Briana Hoefer, Lisette Hoefer, Veronica Hoefer, Catalina Hoefer, Josephine Hoefer; father, Frank Titus; and brother, Mark Titus.Rosary, 10:30AM, Mass of Christian Burial immediately following, 11:00AM, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 North Carefree Circle, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917.Interment at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.In lieu of flowers, a memorial contributions in Karen's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org Events Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 15, 2020 11:00AM Holy Apostles Catholic Church 4925 Carefree Circle North Colorado Springs, CO 80917 Phone: 719-597-4249
