James - this past year has felt so empty without you here. I think of you often. There are so many things I want to share with you about my boys. It hurts that you are not here. I love you & miss you dearly. Until we meet again my friend. xoxoxoxoxo

I just found out about his passing literally a few minutes ago and I'm truly at a loss for words right now! We reconnected a few years back and he picked me up and he paid for both of us to get pedicures and then we went out to eat. He absolutely loved my 3 kids and he made each one of them feel extra special and made sure that he did something for each one of them like going to the movies but he took the time to do something with each one of them one on one individually and it meant so much to me and them. I just talked to him not too long ago and I cant believe that he is gone! My condolences to his children and family. Im sending you prayers and strength right now as you go through such a horrible loss. He will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! I only wish my kids and I would have been able to have paid our last respects. FLY WITH THE ANGELS JAMES! WE LOVE U!

I am saddened to hear of the passing of James. I knew him from high school. He was a friend to almost everyone. I enjoyed working with him during the stage productions. It was good to see him during our 20 year reunion, and I was looking forward to seeing him for our 25th. RIH, until we meet again. I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to the Younger family and all those who loved him.

James is such a sweetheart; we were high school class mates and there was never a time that I found James without a kind word. He had bumped into my mom through his work with AAA in the past few years and she spoke kindly of him as well. May he transition peacefully and sending healing energy to his beautiful family. Hugs, Andrea Hicks

My deepest condolences to James's family, Kelsey, and his sons. James death was so unexpected, and I am sadden to hear about James passing away. James was such a sweet and gentle soul. He was nice to everyone he met. He died way too young. James's family loved him so much, and he was a great father. I am praying that everyone who knew James, can find peace during this difficult time.

You are lived on through the lives of those you affected. I have been blessed through your father. May the Lord be with your family, and give much peace and comfort during this extremely difficult time. For the Lord is close to the broken hearted and hears their prayers.

My deepest sympathies to the family. James was always there with a hug, a smile, a song, encouragement, and a listening ear when needed. His heart was so big. I will miss his voice. I will think of him and smile every time I hear certain songs. Love you, Big Boi

To the Younger family, and all that loved James I extend my deepest sympathies. Today, we say our final goodbyes to one the gentlest, most loving and protective souls I've ever known. Juristic brought James into our lives about 30 years ago. We loved him from the moment we met him. I will remember him wrapping his arms around me and referring to me as his other dad. James had things to do on this earth in the time that he was here. God determined that his purpose had been fulfilled and called him home. If he was saved in Christ Jesus he is doing far better than anyone he left behind. Let us all prepare ourselves so that one day we will be reunited with our beloved James. God will heal all wounds. Juristic Collins Sr. we met him.

James was one of the smartest men I'm ever met . He was always kind . One of my favorite memories of him was his face when Jordan was born , he was terrified of blood but he was there and so happy when he was born. He drove me crazy one weekend I went to visit with the song come on ride the train. I know he's at peace now where he can dance and sing and be happy. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He was too young, he will be missed.Good bye Big James
