So saddened by the news that our Holyoke (Colorado) High School Class of 1978 has lost Sandra and her effervescent spirit. One of my fondest memories of her was when she invited me to spend the weekend at the charming and historic family farmhouse south of Lamar, Nebraska one summer when we were in Junior High or early High School. Seeing her embrace the rural farm life, work with her 4-H calf, and get motorcycle rides from her brother Kevin let me see another side of her. Truly a genuine, sincere person who relished life and has left us too soon. May the peace that only our Lord can give settle upon the family in the days and months ahead.

Condolences to Sandra's family, she was a beautiful person inside and out and she will be missed . It was wonderful to connect with her her again at the class reunion and feel blessed that I was able to see her contagious smile for the last time. Fly high Sandra and I am sure it is heartbreaking but comforting to your family to know that you are in paradise with your heavenly family.

She was a wonderful person!! I took care of her when she was a baby. I'm so sorry. Whether a person is a believer in God or not you are made in the image in the Him. God is in love with her!

So sorry to hear about Sandra's passing, a dear childhood friend that I loved and very happy that I did reconnect with a few years ago. The afternoon we spent at the Assisted Living in Holyoke will be a very fond memory for me - pictures and stories shared, along with joy and laughter. May you find comfort and strength in God during this time and always. Nunzy Leben Alves, New Braunfels, TX

To Sandra's Loving Family, Sandra was one of the sweetest people anyone could ever meet. And she demonstrated her Christian faith in such evident ways and was a remarkable witnesses to the grace of our Lord and the salvation Christ won for us. Sandra was a HHS classmate of mine and I was able to catch up with her at our 40th class reunion. Her resilience, spirit, passion for pursuing her interest in natural medicines and her love for her family was truly inspirational. May the peace of the Lord be with you all. Janelle Krueger
