Dalton was my soul mate. I couldn't write a novel series about all of the good memories we have, there wouldn't be enough paper in the world. He was my best friend and my biggest supporter. He was the first thing I saw in the morning and the last thing I saw at night and I always looked forward to that. The day I found out I was pregnant, Dalton already knew. He was taking something out of the freezer to cook dinner and noticed the ice cream tub was full. When he asked me why I hadn't eaten any, I just said it made me feel sick. He told me I was pregnant. I just laughed about it but he was serious. So we got a test and it was sooo positive. I came out of the bathroom and before I could say anything he said "See I told you." And then we cried. We were so happy. Dalton was an amazing father, and seeing Greyson her excited when he got home or would walk in a room was such an amazing experience. 4 years wasn't long enough with him, I'm not even sure an entire lifetime would have been enough for me.

Dalton was ALWAYS a great kid, he loved to goof around and have fun. One of my favorite memories is when we went to the Tabasco factory in Louisiana and they had a huge dispaly bottle and he gave it a big ole hug.

D you were my bonus nephew, and I will miss you. I know that I haven't seen you since after my Dad passed but you were family. These pictures are the way I remember you, still in Junior High getting ready for High school. When I would visit the three of you would go with me everywhere even if that meant stopping over and over for me to take pictures. To you and Evan riding back with me from New Orleans because I wanted to go to the Museum, and hanging out in your and Evan's room over christmas holidays laughing from an overload of sugar from ice-cream. All was innocence fun and some of the best memories I have of you. You will be missed.

Well Dalton what can i say...when I met your mom all those years ago, you were little. Maybe 7 or 8 years old. I watched you grow into the wonderful man that you were!! My kids looked up to you and loved hanging out, they thought you were so cool!!! It has been a while since i have seen you and for that I am sorry. I loved you like you were my own kid man.
