My condolences to Diane, Kim, Robert and Brittany. Tony loved his family. Tony played a large and wonderful part in my life. I will remember him with fondness and joy. We were kindred spirits in our numerous adventures to the Canadian north. William "Doc" Locy

Many years ago I was a struggling at-risk teenager in Colorado Springs and with my delight, I met one of my all-time best buddies Blake along with his wonderfully loving and caring parents, Diane and Tony Beard. During my short stay in Colorado Springs, the Beard family embraced me as their own and even took me on a hunting trip to Minneola KS where I ate Rocky Mt oysters for the first time (a forever memory lol). My father lost his job so we moved out of state but I will never forget when Tony and Diane offered to take care of me so I can finish high school and have some consistency in my life. Many years later I continued to keep in touch with Blake and was able to have dinner with the Beard family and that's when Tony offered me an amazing employment opportunity (again Tony was always looking after me). I will never forget this very sweet, thoughtful, and kind-hearted man. Tony will be missed but never forgotten. Tony and the Beard family will forever be in my heart. What a beautiful man! I love Tony and the Beard family!

Tony was an inspiration and friend to me. He was always positive whereas the cup was always half full not half empty. I have memories of our last visit when we stopped to see him in Colorado Springs. Special blessing for the family. May Tony rest in peace. ❤️

I first met Tony at a high school track meet in 1959. Both of us "small town" boys and ended up being team mates and hurdlers for the KSU track team. Nothing but wonderful memories of the KSU days traveling to Texas, Louisiana, Michigan and many points in between running in track meets. A true friend all these years since the college days, sharing memories, keeping in touch, watching KSU football. He was devoted to his family, business and just being a man of integrity . What a great legacy! I will miss him, but will always be able to cherish the memories. My thoughts and prayers go out to his awesome family.

I met Tony over 35 years ago while he was an Allstate Insurance Broker. He was so gregarious and so focused on customer service. One heck of a guy. He always spoke so glowingly of his lovely wife Diane, and his children. He was very proud of his family and he loved to share stories of his hunting and fishing adventures. We lost a good man but hopefully, he will live on through his children as they honor his memory!

Tony will be missed by many. I will always remember our summers in minneola Kansas visiting the family. He was the "Haymaker"! He was always funny and kind. Don't get into too much trouble with Dixie in heaven.
