Obituary of Faith Jude Lucero

Faith Jude Lucero, 42, died July 24, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado She was born July 11, 1978 in Portland, Oregon to Curtiss Neal Miller and Celeastina Viola Jeananne (Meis) Miller.Faith was a cashier and care giver and was a member of The Catholic Cathedral Church, in Denver, Colorado Faith was funny, strong, and extremely protective over her mother and sister. She was fierce on our behalf, and most people knew Faith as this strong and abrasive thug girl, which she was. We lived a hard life and we fought through it together, depending only on each other. Only a few knew her soft side. Faith was our rock, both growing up and continuing to the end. Words from Faith's mother: Being a mother is the greatest and most honored gift God ever gave me. I truly don't know what to expect once she is gone. Words from Faith's sister: My sister is the most wonderfulest and bravest woman you could ever know.She is preceded in death by her cousins, Michael Meis, Nicole Castillo, and Justin Featherson.She is survived by her mother, Celeastina (Meis) Miller; her father, Curtiss Miller; her sister, Valerie May Rokham; her nephew, Daniel Andrue Rokham; and her niece, Alice Rose Rokham.Memorial contributions in Faith's memory may be made to Suncrest Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
