James "Jim" Seibert, 68, of Lakewood, passed away on July 31 in Monument.Jim (Jamie to his family) was born in Lakewood, Colorado to James Alexander Seibert and Thelma Lois Grover on August 17, 1951. He attended school in Lakewood. He married his first wife, Becky Ann LaBarr, on July 10, 1971, with whom he had a son and two daughters. They divorced after eighteen years of marriage. Jim was an avid reader and a well-read man. His bookshelves held many biographies, how-to's, histories, and literary classics. Among his favorites was Ernest Hemingway - a copy of "Old Man and the Sea" held pictures of his son's family, tucked inside the cover. Jim was a family man who loved his children and grandchildren tremendously.
