Obituary of Ronald Eugene Cover

Ron E. Cover, age 61, of Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917 passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born April 22, 1959 to Rex and Lorie Cover in Kearney, Nebraska. Ron attended Kearney Catholic High School and graduated in 1977. He worked as a maintenance support technician for Sunridge Retirement for thirteen years. He received the employee of the month award and was involved in helping with senior assistance at Sunridge. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed barbequing, fishing, camping, gardening, going to the gun range, and he had an affinity for animals.He is preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Lorie Cover of Kearney, Nebraska; and his youngest daughter, Megan Cover (11-13-11) of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ron is survived by his wife, Aida Cover; daughters, Andrea Cover and Jamie Burke, all of whom are originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Except for his wife, Aida, who is from Fort Worth, Texas. His brothers and sisters, Alan Cover, Dennis Cover, Darren Cover, Cindy Ledbetter, Patty Cover; grandchildren, Reagan Carter, Thaddeus Jamison, Samantha, Leslie, Destiny, Aaron Jr. Vasquez; and great-grandchildren, Valentina, Viviana, Valiant Vasquez, Areil Vasquez, Elleona Gallaghan.Memorial contributions in Ron's memory may be made to Gofundme.com, "Ron was the most kind caring man" organized by Andrea Cover.
