I was Rich's neighbor since 1998 I miss the sounds coming from his garage..he was always tinkering with something. I will never forget him his wife and his two daughters I got to watch grow up...they all will forever be in my heart.

We will cherish all the fun and memories we shared as cousins in Helena Mt. You were always loved and very much missed as you moved on with your life. Sorry for the loss of your wife and now you are together without pain. We know how proud you were of your children and the life you built. Your leather work you showed us was beautiful. Rest in peace ❣Bob and Donna Morris

Richard, where does time go? My intent was to retire and get around to see everyone again and time is fickle. You'll laugh at this but my most vivid memory of our life as kids together was all of us sitting around Aunt Ruby's table eating fried potatoes & eggs with ketchup! I will always remember you as the smiling little fellow with a head of curls. I am happy that Janet and you reconnected and we got to hear of your family and ventures. My deepest sympathy to your family, losing you is a tremendous loss. Blessings, Sherry

Richard, You will always be one of my favorite friends I have known in my lifetime. I was proud to be your cousin and cherished our times together as children. My entire family anticipated hearing about the emails you would send me updating me about your life in the last year. I'm so glad we reconnected and I have those emails to read. I'm also thankful I got to express to you how much you meant to me and repeat many of the kind comments my siblings and parents have made about you and your sisters through the years. I'm happy you had such a wonderful family that brought you lots of joy. Memories of you will always be treasured. Love you forever, Janet

I am gonna miss the Saturday or Sunday noise coming from his garage whenever Rich would be out there tinkering with his many tools. R.I.P. you will be missed. Jamie

Rich, you were more than just another leather crafter, you were a friend. Your passing will leave a hole in our hearts that won't be filled. We'll always remember the good times at the meetings and the State Fair, and you hating all the wrist bands the kids wanted. You are probably with your beloved wife now. You will be missed.
