Obituary of Jeremias Jose Pimentel
Jeremias Jose Pimentel, 22, died August 31, 2020 in Fountain, Colorado.He was born May 6, 1998 to Jose Manuel Pimentel and Alicia Eva Landeros in Newburyport, Massachusetts.After graduating from James Irvin High School, Jeremias served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. After active duty, he served in the Marine Corps Reserves and then in the Navy ROTC. He was very goal-oriented and did everything he could to reach his goals. Through the Marine Corps ROTC, Jeremias was awarded a $180,000 scholarship to attend CU Boulder.Jeremias loved soccer and was a dedicated Bachata dancer. He enjoyed boxing and was number 1 in Tekken.He is survived by his two daughters, Serenity E. Miller-Dawkins and Penelope E. Dawkins; his girlfriend, Evelyn Itzetel Dawkins of Colorado Springs; his niece, Syori Sotomayor; his sister, Carissa J. Guzman of Chicago; his brother, Erick Manuel Pimentel of Fountain; his mother, Alicia Eva Landeros of Fountain; his father, Jose Manuel Pimentel of Greeley; and his dog, Rico.A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
