Obituary of Walter "Max" Dennison
W. Max Dennison, 71 years old, passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 2, 2020. He was born in Panama City, Florida to Walter and Mary Sue Tindal Dennison. His father's Air Force career allowed the family to enjoy living in many parts of the world. During his childhood, Max's life was influenced by living in England, Japan and Turkey. He climbed Mount Fuji and rode the Orient Express. Family trips included excursions to the Louvre museum in Paris, and the ancient city of Ephesus, Turkey. His love for travel and adventure never wavered. Max and his wife, Patricia, traveled extensively after retirement. He was an avid scuba diver. Favorite pastimes included reading, crossword puzzles, sudoku and playing games with family members. Spending time with family was important.Max graduated from Metropolitan State College, in Denver in 1973. His Bachelor of Computer Science Degree led to a successful career creating/designing computer programs that met the needs of his clients. His final job was managing the Resolution Trust Corporation, a department of FDIC, in Washington, DC. He retired as a GS 15.Max is survived by his mother, Mary Sue Tindal Dennison; his devoted wife, Patricia Aspelin Dennison; brother, R. Tindal (Connie) Dennison; son, Kyle (Victoria) Dennison; daughter, Kristen Dennison; son, Kelly (Raili) Dennison; and four grandchildren, Jordan, Paige, Kylie and Marcus.
