Sandra Kay Refior, 62, died September 2, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born March 8, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio to Carl E. and Susie E. (Staley) Hook.Sandra graduated from Widefield High School. She worked various jobs as a caregiver and as a teacher's assistant for BOCES. Sandra was very loyal, always willing to go the extra mile for friends, family and clients. Known for her caring and generous nature, she was loved by all.Sandra loved her family very much, especially her children and grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her father, Carl E. Hook.Sandra is survived by her husband, Richard I. Gonzalez of Colorado Springs; sons, Eric Lee and Duane Michael Refior of Colorado Springs; daughter, Angel Rene Gonzalez of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Sage, Tristyn and Draeven Refior; mother, Susie Hook-McFann; sisters, Linda Murt and Debra Rich; and brother, Carl Hook, Jr.A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
