Obituary of Elena Bost

Elena Collins Bost was born on July 27, 1934 to Elbert and Earle Collins in Tapacitos, New Mexico. She departed this life on September 3, 2020 at her home in Peyton, Colorado.Elena lived a long and full life filled with adventure. She loved to square dance and rockhound with her best friend/husband of sixty-two years. Together they explored as many places as possible and enjoyed their time traipsing around outside and spending time with their family and many friends. Elena had enough sass and spunk to keep her life interesting. She will be missed tremendously by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband Joe; sons, Steve (Paula), Drew (Vera), Dave and Luke; her daughter, Jennie (Manuel) Ortega; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Elena is preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Bost. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
