Obituary of Patricia G. Pederson
Mere words can hardly describe the vast wealth of someone's life...A more Irish spirit there never was! Our world judges success by wealth, and things one has to show for it If that's the definition you go by, she might not make the cut. But those who knew her, thought she was a great success! A nurse for 45 years, she treated everyone as family, and worked tirelessly, to show compassion and respect to the people in her care.Born of a generation that expected women to be wives and mothers, she was the first to say, in that, she had no natural ability. But truly shined in every other aspect of life! The legacy she leaves her family and all that knew her is...Work hard and be grateful in all things. Live, laugh and love! That's it, and if you're able to do that, true wealth you have!Remembered JoyDon't grieve for me, for now I'm free!I follow the plan God laid for me.I saw His face, I heard His call,I took His hand and left it all...I could not stay another day,To love, to laugh, to work or play;Tasks left undone must stay that way.And if my parting has left a void,Then fill it with remembered joy.A friendship shared, a laugh, a kissAh yes, these things I, too, shall miss.My life's been full, I've savoured much;Good times, good friends,A loved one's touch.Perhaps my time seemed all too brief-Don't shorten yours with undue grief.Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow. We love you Pat!-From all who were lucky enough to cross your path!
