Obituary of Arminda "Mindy" Sue Schultz
Arminda "Mindy" Sue Schultz, 42, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away September 15, 2020 in Colorado Springs. At age 3�, she was diagnosed with a rare form of Epilepsy (Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome) and had seizures almost every day. She expired as the result of a grand mal seizure. She was born April 15, 1978 to Rex and Etta Sue (Robinson) Schultz in Omaha, Nebraska. Mindy went to Palmer High School and finished her schooling in 1999 at Wasson High School in Colorado Springs.She was a huge fan of country music and loved Little Big Town. She could recite the names of the four singers and their families. Mindy loved the Colorado Rockies baseball team and watched every game that was on television. She knew the uniform number and full name (including their middle name) of every player. She really loved her time at Goodwill Journeys and was so fond of the staff and clients there.Mindy is survived by her mother and father; her brothers, Gary (Dana) Schultz of Parker, Colorado, and Russell (Deedra) Schultz of Colcord, Oklahoma; her sister, Cindy (John) Wilson of Odenton, Maryland; twelve nieces and nephews; as well as four great-nephews. She loved her family dearly.The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Common Roots, LLC and Grace Malillos, her host home provider, and to Goodwill Journeys for their concern and service over the years.Memorial contributions in Mindy's memory may be made to New Life Ranch, 160 New Life Ranch Drive, Colcord, Oklahoma 74338, or at:https://newliferanch.salsalabs.org/MindySchultzMemorialFund/index.htmlA family service was held on September 18, and no public service will be held.
