The Bristols were some of the first people that I met when I moved to Colorado. We danced with the SCA, had game nights, and went to science fiction/fantasy conventions! I volunteered at CSDB for ... not very long. At one point, we all got snowed in for ... err ... DAYS in a 2-bedroom apartment. Thank you for helping with our wedding and for being such awesome friends for so many years! I'm sad that you never made it to Italy. I'm glad that we got to visit you (through the window for appropriate social distancing). I am so happy to have known you, Kathy/Ilana. Lots of love and hugs!

Always brought a smile to my face to see Kathy at Mass with her grandchildren.....and to see her needlework. Honor to work on church ministries with her. Kathy was an example of how to be a giving person. Deepest sympathy and prayers.

Back in 1995 I was a new college student, and just discovering the SCA. I was on my own, no one local that I knew, and a little bit lost. Mama Ilana (as I knew her) was happy to take me under her wing, both in the SCA and as a lost Catholic lamb. She helped me in so many ways that I cannot possibly describe. She was a person I was honored to know.

Hello, my name is Amanda and Kathy and James used to be my regulars at Omelets Etc. They were my favorite customers and they always lit up my day. Kathy was such an incredible woman and I am so sad to hear this news. She was so loving, caring, smart, funny, witty and she had a way to always bring a smile to your face. She was also one of the strongest women I know. James, family and friends, I am so, so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this tragic time. ❤️

Her calm presence was so wonderful. Her dedication along with James to the marriage encounter program was simply inspiring. although I'm sure she is one of God's angels, her presence will be missed. Thinking and praying for all of you.
