First, My sincerest condolences to the Family, my cousins so close to my heart. I never got to meet Robert but through Facebook and our interactions were congenial. I really liked what he stood for in his opinions and outlook of life in general. The video really hit home as to who he was. I commend the effort on this! I will miss him on Facebook and regret that I never met him face to face. Life is so short, be vigilant on your journey of love..... May Robert rest in Peace.

The best memories I have of Robert include his infectious laughter. He was such a big kid and always wanted to horse around. I wish I could be there today but will never forget his smile. Go Broncos

Robert helped me learn a life lesson when we played C-Squad football at Palmer. I played QB that year and Robert was our RB and a damn good one. During our big night game at Garry Berry Stadium, we drove the ball down to the opponents 2 yard line. I think we were playing Coronado HS C-Squad. Coach Espinoza called a sweep for Robert, I was supposed to pitch him the ball and he would run to the outside and score. Instead I did a QB sneak without telling anyone and scored. Robert, Coach and pretty much the rest of the offense were pissed at me. I had done a selfish thing and Robert called me out on it. It was a life lesson in how to be a good teammate and NOT be selfish. I remember feeling horrible. Of course Robert went to many Touchdowns that year as were undefeated, but I will never forget that lesson and how Robert forgave me. I have many found memories of Robert growing up playing football, at North Jr. High and at Palmer. I recently lost my dad this past April, so Robert go visit my dad in heaven. RIP Robert.

One of my favorite memories is from the 4th grade. Robert was the lead in a little class play" the great and might balloon brain". He had to do his lines with a balloon taped to his head. I don't know why that sticks in my memories but it makes me smile.

Lots of great memories with my very friendly, caring and compassionate cousin, you will be remembered by many because you had a big heart, I remember listening to some good old Northern New Mexico music together that my cousin and I truly loved and our Northern New Mexico roots that we shared lots of pride for. My condolences to all of Robert's immediate family, Robert was a really good guy that will truly be missed!
