Obituary of Lauriano "Larry" Alberto Espinoza

Larry A. Espinoza, 73, passed away on December 1, 2020 at Penrose St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was an associate at Home Depot, 158 Briargate, and a contractor for many years.� He was well known throughout Colorado Springs for working with youth in his boxing gym for many years, and as a professional boxer, who took pride in his ability to teach others.Most of all, Larry loved spending all his spare time with his wife and grandchildren, camping on their property, four-wheeling and attending all athletic events. His words of love and faith will live on in his grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; and his only son, Larry L. Espinoza, Jr.Larry will be forever missed by his wife of sixteen years, Pat Ceja; daughters, Adrianna (Brian) Rico of Englewood, Colorado, Vanessa (Judy) Fernandez-Barron of Denver, Colorado; four loving grandchildren, Brian, Jr. (Brianna), Ariyah, Adrian, Siraeah; and one great-grandaughter, Amina Rico; siblings, Flora Cisneros of Louisiana, Pete (Judy) Espinoza of San Luis, Colorado, and Bridgette Ontiveros of Colorado Springs; his much-loved aunt, Rupie Lujan of Englewood; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Memorial Service, 9:00AM, Saturday, May 1, 2021, Holy Name Catholic Parish, 3290 West Milan Avenue, Sheridan, Colorado 80110. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00PM in San Luis, Colorado. Jose Martinez will be officiating.
