Obituary of Donald Eugene Brown, III

Donald Eugene Brown, III, 46, unexpectedly passed away on December 2, 2020, at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born August 4, 1974 to Donald E., Jr. and Jane A. Brown in Wichita Falls, Texas. He attended high school at Cheyenne Mountain High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2004 and a Masters in Software Engineering in 2005 from CTU.Don grew the business from the basement of his house with a small generator and two racks while working for other companies. PRB CORP. was purchased in May of 1996 and the DBA, Springs Hosting was born in 2006. FrontierIT followed in 2017. He personally grew by involving himself in the Colorado Springs community which included serving on several boards. Don succeeded in building lasting relationships with his customers, employees, family and community.He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Ruth Brown, Sr., and Art and Dorothy Cochran; and his sister, Judy Brown.Don is survived by his son, Dustin Shankle; his brother, William Brown and his wife, Leslie; niece, Lillian; and nephew, Jackson; and his parents, Jane and Don Brown, Jr.Memorial Service, 1:00PM, Saturday, January 23, 2021, The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.
