Obituary of Richard Lee Blake

Richard Blake, 72, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed into eternal life on Friday, December 4, 2020.Richard was born in Oregon City, Oregon to Raymond and Dorthy Blake. He later moved to Mesa, Arizona where he met his wife, Nancy. They were married in 1968.He worked as a senior project engineer for various tech companies. After retiring from his job, he pursued building a deck and carpentry. Richard enjoyed reading and watching science fiction. He also enjoyed crockpot cooking.Richard and Nancy have three daughters and eight grandchildren. He greatly enjoyed being a grandfather.Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dorthy; his brother, William; and sisters, Renee and Phyllis.He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his brother, Ron; sisters, Janice and Connie; daughters, Sarah, Anna and Rebecca; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Matthew, Emmaline, Nate, Jack, Alex, Lily and Harplyn.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date when COVID restrictions are lessened.
