Obituary of Floyd Marion Head
Floyd Marion Head, 82, died December 7, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born May 13, 1938 to Samuel Hoyt and Opal Olene (Headrick) HeadFloyd was a very special person to everyone who knew him. He was a gentle, kindhearted man with a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. He was a little rough around the edges, but he unconditionally loved his close relatives and dear friends. Floyd enjoyed country music, the rodeo, horseback riding, fishing, and long walks with his sons along the Blue River in Oklahoma. Floyd's thoughtfulness and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all. He has gone to his heavenly home to be with his oldest son, Charles Head; and his daughter, Deborah Head. Floyd has left behind his youngest son, Kenneth Head; and his nephew, Doyle (Wayne) Williamson. Also mourning his loss will be his seven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. Floyd also leaves behind his companion and best friend, Margaret Sturgis Payton, whom he loved dearly.
