Darrel had an amazing testimony which he shared with us when he did some work on our bathroom remodel . I would give him liverworst or ice cream sandwiches when he'd let me .Darrel also shared his testimony of God's power and presence in his life by the way he lived, worked , spoke of his beloved Audrey and family. When my husband ,Tim became so ill in 2019, Darrel would text us periodically to ask how Tim was doing and let us know he was continuing to pray for us.This was so encouraging! He loved on us and always was willing to help. When my own heart was hurting at the loss of my one and only brother also named Darrell, he was a compassionate ear and brother to me. He was family to us and though we have no human blood connection... we are connected through the blood of Christ. He is a brother and we miss him. Tim and I look forward to the Lord's return and so joyful that Darrel will be one of the fellow siblings of God at the party. Our hearts go out to his family and wife as they rejoice and grieve their precious Dad , husband and dear friend. We thank God that We knew Darrel.
