Obituary of Judy Lynne Carle
Judy Carle was given the gift of life 68 years ago, and she shared it with all she knew and loved. On December 14, 2020, she returned home to Heaven to walk beside her parents, Jerry and Eileen Carle.Throughout her life, Judy treasured her relationships with her family and friends. She dedicated thirty-two years to teaching elementary school, where she embraced her students as they embraced her, and where she created lifelong friendships along the way.Judy had fun playing bingo and bridge, riding horses, doing a good puzzle and decorating for the seasons. She really knew how to throw a great party. She especially loved her pets. Her many cats and dogs brought her so much happiness. She was a friend and protector to all animals, and as a foster parent for Dream Power Cat Rescue, she found loving homes for many kitties.Above all, Judy was a loving daughter, sister, best friend, caregiver and the most incredible aunt to her nieces and nephews. She taught us to play kazoos, brake for squirrels and garage sales, sing out loud to Neil Diamond, cannonball into the pool, choose the biggest Slurpee and that one glow stick was never enough. But it was her life lessons of love, laughter and acceptance that will stretch beyond these cherished memories.Judy will be missed tremendously by her sister, Jan Carle and her children, Kasey (Anthony) Weber, McKinsey Roebken, and Lindsey (Tristan) Stafford; her brother, Dave and his wife, Diane Carle and their children, Megan Carle, Shannon (Jordon) Oldfather, and Michael Carle; and her great-nephews and niece, Jackson, Ty, Kaden, Ryland, Tony, Duke, Jake, Hunter, Spencer, and Gabriella will miss her wonderful smile and special hugs.Knowing Judy's commitment to saving animals, in lieu of flowers and as an expression of love, memorial contributions in Judy's memory may be made to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).We will remember Judy on a future date in 2021 when we can all be together to hug safely and celebrate the beautiful life we shared with her.
