Michael Dean Morton, 78, died December 14, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born November 12, 1942 in Long Beach, California to Frederick G. and Elizabeth Mae (Standiford) Morton.Michael worked as a police officer for Los Angeles County for many years and was a veteran of the United States Army.He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Elizabeth Morton; and his brother, Frederick Morton, Jr.Michael is survived by his wife, Sharon Roberta Morton of Colorado Springs; daughters, Kelly Leigh Morton and Michelle Lynn Morton, both of Colorado Springs; son, Jeffrey Olin Morton of Colorado Springs; and sister, Patricia Fitzmaurice of Illinois.Inurnment, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
