Obituary of Teresa Gay Miller

Teresa G. Miller, 66, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, earned her angel wings December 26, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born May 3, 1954 to Thomas, Sr. and Doris Jones in Louisville, Kentucky.Teresa attended Male High School in Louisville, Kentucky and earned her certificate in Early Child Development. Teresa worked as an Education Technician for Child and Youth Services at Fort Carson, Colorado for twenty-one years. She was involved with the Boy Scouts as a scout leader, trainer, and a member of The Red Hat Society.Teresa enjoyed movies, shopping, time with family, working with children and traveling. She lived a life of service to God and others. As a member of Awakening Church, she was a friendly face and kind spirit.She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Doris Jones; one brother; four sisters; and two nephews.Teresa is survived by her husband, William D. Miller, Jr; her daughter, Tracy Miller; sons, Michael Miller, Sr., William D. Miller, III, Benjamin (Jaqui) Johnson, Jason (Eva) Quarles; her brother, Larry (Betsy) Jones, Sr.; six grandsons; seven granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.A private Visitation will be held from 4:00PM-6:00PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2021.Funeral Service, 11:00AM, Wednesday, January 13, 2021, Awakening Church, 3445 Oro Blanco Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917. Attendees for the Funeral Service will be capped at 75 people.
