Obituary of Betty Jean Wilson

Betty Jean Wilson, 82, died December 27, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born October 12, 1938 to Lonnie and Zyphrine (Simmons) Small in Winona, Mississippi.Betty Jean was the Matriarch of her family. She not only a mother to her seven children, but to many others who dawned her presence and felt comfortable enough to call her mom. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfonza Wilson; and her parents, Lonnie and Zyphrine Small.Betty is survived by her seven children, Cecelia (Willie) Davis of Ruskin, Florida, Artis (Denise) Parker, Jr. of New York, New York, Chauncey Parker of Colorado Springs, Deborah Allen of Colorado Springs, Eleanor Aikins of Fresno, California, Rodney Parker of Colorado Springs, and Ericka (Chris) Wilson of Colorado Springs; and sixteen grandchildren.A private Visitation will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM, with a private Funeral Service immediately following at 11:00AM, Friday, January 8, 2021.The Funeral Service will be streamed live.
