Obituary of Marilyn J. Norwood-Drouillard
Marilyn J. Norwood-Drouillard went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 84.Marilyn is survived by her children, Mark Rubeck of Elbert, Colorado and Christine Hensley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her sibling, Jack Wagner of Mesa, Arizona; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ruth Wagner; three loving husbands, Walter Rubeck, Wayne Norwood and Art Drouillard; her sibling, Larry Wagner; and her two children, Ruthann Tryon and Jeffery Rubeck.Marilyn was born on September 16, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Colorado in 1955 and had been a long time resident for many years. She was a devoted member of the National Organization of Parents of Murdered Children (POMC) and other homicide victims, and was a dedicated individual who was an advocate for change in the justice system. Marilyn was an avid crocheter and knitter who enjoyed spending time chatting with her family and friends.No service is scheduled at this time.
