Obituary of William Hayward Packard, Jr.

William "Bill" Hayward Packard, Jr., 63, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away surrounded by his family, following a brief illness, on December 29, 2020 in Colorado Springs. He was born February 19, 1957 to William and Natalie Packard in Cleveland, Ohio. Bill graduated from John Marshall High School in 1974. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Brook Park.Bill enjoyed helping and spending time with his family. His hobbies were working on cars, building model cars and camping. Bill was an avid fan of Ohio sports. He is survived by his children, Crystal Black of Brunswick, Ohio, William "Bill" (Cindy) Packard, III of Colorado Springs, Scott (Tabitha) Packard of Litchfield, Ohio, Jessica Packard of Colorado Springs, and Jeramey Packard of Hillsboro, Oregon; sisters, Judy Thacker and Beverly Liss of Locust Grove, Georgia; brother, Donald Packard of Parma, Ohio; grandfather to ten grandchildren; and uncle to several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Natalie Packard; brother, Charles Packard; sister, Nancy Holyko; and brothers-in-law, John Thacker and Joseph Liss.A private Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM, Monday, January 11, 2021.The service will be streamed live 11:00AM MT/1:00pm EST.
