Obituary of Deborah Suzanne Carver
Deborah Suzanne Carver, age 87, left this world for one better on January 1, 2021. She was born on October 22, 1933 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Henry and Emily Lindhout. She married the love of her life, Robert Wayne Carver, in the same city on August 10, 1951, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. In 1967 Bob and Debbie moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where the family painting and decorating business thrived. While living in Chicago Heights they were members of Immanuel Baptist Church and in Colorado Springs both the First Southern Baptist Church and Circle Drive Baptist Church.Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her sisters, Muriel, Alda, Ellen, Marguerite, Barbara, and Naomi; her brothers, Richard, Truman, Nathan, Hendrick, and Tullis; and her beloved son, Andrew. She is survived by her brother, Lance; sons, Robert, John, and Paul; daughters, Leslie, Sue-Ellen, Mary, and Debra; twenty-three grandchildren; and thirty-four great-grandchildren.No public funeral service will be held. A private ceremony will be held later in 2021 when Deborah is interred at Andrew's side in the Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, Illinois.The family expresses their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Colonial Columns Nursing Center who faithfully served on Deborah's behalf, and on behalf of her children, over the final years of her life."God shall wipe away all tears... no more death, sorrow, pain, or crying: the former things are passed away." - Rev 21:4
