Obituary of David Arthur Mitchell

David lost his ten year courageous battle with multiple myeloma on January 3, 2021.He was born in Big Spring, Texas to Jack and Doris and grew up in El Paso, Texas where he met his loved and devoted wife of nearly forty-seven years, Mary. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1975 where David was an accomplished cabinet maker and estimator for architectural millwork firms.They had two cherished sons, Jake and Steven, and as a family spent many wonderful years exploring the awesome Colorado outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing; he was their most avid supporter.Left to honor his memory is his wife, Mary; their two sons, Jake and Steven; as well as his sister, Janelle (Mick) Degn; his Aunt Leta; and many cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.At David's request, there will be no services.
