Obituary of Lester Ray Grubbs

Lester Ray Grubbs, 97, died January 5, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born October 13, 1923 in Fort Worth, Texas to Lee V. and Christine (Nelson) Grubbs.Lester was a minister in the church with a doctorate of ministry. He served in the United States Army in World War II and had a bronze star medal.Lester is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Christine Grubbs.He is survived by his wife, Billye Huffman Grubbs; daughters, Darla (Charles) Purchase, Mary Grubbs; sons, Don (Patti) Grubbs, Mike (Rebecca) Grubbs; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
