Obituary of Maria Perls

Maria Perls, 85, died January 8, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born December 2, 1935 in the Dominican Republic.Maria worked as a dish washer for a hotel and was always known for being a very hard worker.She enjoyed walking, crosswords, flowers, and reading. Maria loved telling and listening to family stories of the past. She enjoyed writing letters to her family and never forgot anyone's birthday. Maria was very sociable and made friends with everyone she met.Maria is survived by her sons, Esteban Oscar Ignacio and Walter Marcano, both of Colorado Springs; her daughters, Elizabeth Leal of Colorado Springs, Doris Marcano of Hollywood, Florida, and Shirley Josefina (Francisco) Marcano Perls of Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic; grandchildren, Jacqueline Caridad Amen, Daniel Leal, Jacqueline Dinzey, Jessica Dinzey, Joanna Dinzey, Nicole Asencio Marcano, and Javier Asencio Marcano; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
